All v3.x updates to Bookmark Buddy are free. Whether you are a registered or trial user you can download and install the latest update of Bookmark Buddy v3.x without affecting your registration or trial. If you want to preserve your settings you should install over the top of your existing setup (i.e. without uninstalling first).

25 January 2015: v3.9.2 released. This update includes minor tweaks and bug fixes. It is a recommended update from v.3.9.0, which can produce spurious ‘list file corrupted’ messages.

22 July 2014: v3.9.0 released. This update includes a redesigned Notes window, enhanced detection and repair of corrupted lists, improved AutoLogin, a number of usability enhancements and minor bug fixes.

16 September 2013: v3.8.0 released. This update includes major improvements to searching, a number of usability enhancements and bug fixes.

24 June 2012: v3.7.5 released. This update includes some minor enhancements and bug fixes.

10 May 2011: v3.7.3 released. This update includes a further compatibility update for Firefox 4.

29 March 2011: v3.7.2 released. This update restores full compatibility with Firefox 4.

6 November 2010: v3.7.1 released. This includes various browser compatibility updates and 64-bit Program Files directory awareness.

7 September 2009: v3.7.0 released. The Reader edition has been upgraded to a fully-functional Portable edition. Other changes include usability enhancements, such as multi-monitor awareness, and compatibility updates for various browsers.

5 May 2009: v3.6.6 released. This update fixes a bug with importing Firefox 3 bookmarks.

7 February 2009: v3.6.5 updated to restore compatibility with the latest version of AOL Explorer.

6 January 2009: v3.6.5 released. This update adds support for importing bookmarks directly from Firefox v.3 and updates compatibility with various other import formats.

15 December 2008: v3.6.4 released. This update updates compatibility with various browsers and fixes some minor bugs.

14 June 2007: v3.6.3 released. This update fixes some minor bugs.

28 April 2007: v3.6.2 released. This update adds support for importing bookmarks from Powermarks and Compass, and fixes some minor import/export bugs.

16 February 2007: v3.6.1 released. This update adds support for Maxthon2 web browser and fixes a minor bug (when installing as an update).

13 February 2007: v3.6.0 released. This update includes improved duplicate management, support for importing bookmarks from Safari, plus a host of usability enhancements and bug fixes. All users are recommended to update to this version. See below for details of changes.

22 June 2006: Bookmark Buddy Reader Edition v3.5.4 released. This edition allows you to open, decrypt, search and export bookmark lists. It does not require installation or registration: the program files can be copied to any device or folder and run from there. You can therefore run Bookmark Buddy from a USB memory stick, MP3 player or floppy disk. This edition does not allow you to import bookmark collections nor edit bookmark lists.

30 September 2005: Bookmark Buddy Unicode Edition v3.5.1U released. This allows you to store bookmarks and notes in any language, including those that do not use the Latin character set (such as Russian, Polish, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, etc). Note that this edition requires Windows 2000, XP or later. In all other respects it is identical to the standard edition.

25 August 2005: Bookmark Buddy v3.5.0 released. This includes a much-enhanced List View window with sortable columns, extra Tool Tray functionality, improved compatibility with many browsers, additional templates, many improvements to existing features and some minor bug fixes.
