Does Bookmark Buddy work with Opera?
You can open bookmarks in Opera, but at present you cannot 'fetch' bookmarks. This is because, since v.15, Opera uses the Chromium browser engine (also used in Google's Chrome browser), which does not implement a standard Windows method for inter-application communication (DDE or COM) and so requires the development of a browser-specific plug-in. You can however add bookmarks by dragging the icon in the address bar onto Bookmark Buddy. If you set up the hot key to 'Activate Bookmark Buddy', type that key combination as you drag the URL and Bookmark Buddy will pop to the front. Opera v.12 is fully compatible with Bookmark Buddy.
