I've lost some of my bookmarks!
If you notice that you have lost bookmarks, the first thing to
do is to try to recover the automatic backup copy of your bookmark list. The procedure is detailed  here.
Note that there is a
 problem
with Windows 98: it can shut the computer down before it has finished
saving data to your hard disk. This can be remedied by downloading
the Windows IDE Hard Drive Cache Package update from the
Windows update web site.
