Installing

When you complete your purchase you will receive a Personal License Register file, which you will need to save into your Windows folder. This will fully-enable the software without reinstalling or restarting Windows.

Updates

All updates within a product line are free and do not require re-registration. Only upgrades from one product line to another (e.g. URL Organizer 2 to Bookmark Buddy) require you to purchase a new license.

Support

E-mail support is free for the lifetime of the product.

License

For business use, you require one license per indivudal user. For personal use, a single license covers use by all members of a family sharing a computer.

Full license terms and conditions may be found in the ReadMe file and help notes that accompany Bookmark Buddy and URL Organizer.

Methods of payment accepted

You can pay on-line or you can send your order by mail or fax. Payment methods accepted are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, NOVUS/Discover, US$ Postal Money, US$ check, PayPal (which includes e-check and UK debit cards Switch, Solo and Visa Electron). On-line payments are submitted to a secure server, processed by Verisign, and your registration is active as soon as payment has been authorized.

Multi-license discounts

Quantity discounts are applied automatically to purchases of licenses for Bookmark Buddy and URL Organizer 2 (separately):

• Licenses 1: 0%
• Licenses 2 to 5: 10%
• Licenses 6 to 20: 20%
• Licenses 21 to 50: 40%
• Licenses 51 to 100: 60%
• Licenses 101 to 200: 80%
• Licenses 201 onwards: 100%

Try before you buy

Each of these programs is made available on a try-before-you-buy basis (traditionally known as 'shareware'), which means that you may try it out for free for up to 30 days to decide whether it's the right product for you. After 30 days you must either buy a license or uninstall the program.

Note that certain restrictions come into effect after 30 days if you have not registered by then, but you will always have access to your bookmarks, and you will always be able to export them back to Internet Explorer, Netscape/Mozilla, Opera or, in the case of Bookmark Buddy, MSN or URL Organizer.

Payment steps

• Go to the OSoLiS registration site. (You will find a link on the Help menu (URL Organizer 2: Application menu) – or click on the button above).
• Supply your contact details. (You will not receive e-mail spam or junk mail as a result of your registration – see OSoLiS's privacy statement.)
• Authorize a card or PayPal payment, or print out the mail/fax order form.
• Once payment has been authorized, you will receive a copy of your Personal License Register – detailed instructions here.
• Place your Personal License Register in the active Windows folder.

Note that you must download and install the program as well.

If after following the instructions to install your Personal License Register, Bookmark Buddy or URL Organizer still reports that it is not registered, check the message in About Bookmark Buddy under the Help menu (URL Organizer 2: About URL Organizer under the Application menu). If you're not sure what you need to do, check here or consult the program's help notes.
